Bitchin’ Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Bragg’s liquid aminos or soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard, optional
1 heaping tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
salt, to taste
1 pound brussels sprouts, quartered lengthwise
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 red onion, coarsely chopped
4 ounces tempeh, cubed 1/2″
1/3-1/2 cup pecans or walnuts
